Start taking in things, and hanging around people, that are going to lift your spirit. You know the right song can make your heart swell and put your feet to dancing. A funny movie or a good joke will put a smile on your face. Just being in the same room with a happy, upbeat person can have that same spirit rub off on you and lift your countenance.
So have a collection of music, movies, and books readily available to lift your spirit and keep your outlook on life bright and hopeful. Take advantage of this and use it for your benefit. Heck, isn’t that why many of the musicians wrote the songs in the first place?
