You lie in your expensive queen sleigh bed. As you look around the room, you see perfection. Shall you get up and use the spa? Maybe you will just lie there and have someone bring you breakfast. You live in luxury. Life is good.

Of course, you were only dreaming. You awaken to the same old bed. Your walls look dingy and old. It can be depressing. Is there anything you can do to improve this room? You have very little money to spend on a makeover. You can do several things for an inexpensive face-lift.

Changing the walls can give your room a new look. Do you have any paint just sitting around? Maybe there is extra paint leftover from another project. They do not have to be the same color. Mix a gallon of blue and a gallon of white. You will have light blue walls. It will not cost you anything.

Even if you buy paint for your walls, it is not very expensive. You should be able to find the money for new walls. Make sure that you know which color you want. Be careful about covering dark colors. You may need extra coats of paint. You can save more money if the paint is in good condition. Try painting borders on the walls, for a new look. Buy wallpaper border and utilize it. You can make your room look good this way.

Another method that involves no money is rearranging. Take the time to move the bed to another location. Maybe you will have it face a different direction. Move other furniture also. This can give the appearance of a new room. It may help to break the monotony and make you feel better.

Another way for a different look is to change the bed. That old sleigh bed may look completely different with new pillow covers and sheets. Try a different bedspread also. Your bed can be the center of attention. When the bed is different, so is the room.

Change the windows with new curtains. This can give your bedroom a new look. They do not have to be expensive. Are you good at sewing and making things? You can buy the material and make your own.

You may have money that you did not know of. Sell some things that you no longer use. Items like baby cribs and infant car seats can finance your new wall colors.

Summary

You do not have much money. That is no excuse for looking at the same tired old bedroom. Look around your house. There are ways to give you room a completely new look. It might make you feel better in the process.

How To Find The Perfect Handbag

June 27, 2010 by leonedward · Leave a Comment

Rarely will two women ever agree on what constitutes the perfect handbag. There are so many choices available in terms of material, style, and color that it can be difficult to select one. Fortunately, with all the options it can be quite for everyone to find her own personal favorite. By carefully considering how you use a handbag you can improve the chances that you will be satisfied with your choice.

For those who want a place for everything and will return items to their places, an organizer handbag may be worthy of consideration. Typically these feature several compartments and pockets or slots to hold cell phones, checkbooks, and credit cards. If they have a shoulder strap, it is often detachable. They may also have a clip or snap for keys.

For those who prefer a more casual approach, hobo bags can be a good choice. These are typically a single pouch which is large and soft. They almost always have a shoulder strap. You can strike a balance between comfort and organization by adding individual pouches to separate items inside the bag.

A tote bag or a Hobo bag would be a good choice for those who like the ability to carry larger items within. If you frequently take along a bottle of water, a book, or a snack, you might want to consider one of these types of bags. They will also hold a large wallet, a date book, or a portable tape player.

A clutch is a small bag that holds little more than the bare essentials. Some have no strap, while others have just a short strap to wrap around the wrist. There are also designers who are adding a chain or strap just long enough to allow the bag to be carried on the shoulder. An evening bag is usually a clutch, but is typically adorned with sequins, mother of pearl, or beads for additional sparkle. Also, they seldom have a shoulder strap available, although some may have handles or wrist straps.

Handbags are made from a number of different materials from vibrant fabrics to comfortable brown boot leather. With some styles, you can add personalization in the form of an engraved metal tag or embroidery. Many fabric styles include trims such as rhinestones, tassels, and sequins to add interest.

Once you have decided on the style, material, and size you need, your shopping will be much easier. Whether you buy online or at your local department store, you will find hundreds of bags from which to choose. All that will remain is for you to make a decision and then enjoy your new handbag.

Understanding What Goes On In A Midlife Crisis

June 27, 2010 by leonedward · Leave a Comment
Filed under: Be Happy

Usually, for the first quarter of a person’s life, this is a period that is guided by parents, teachers or other mentors. Once this period is over, adulthood can move very quickly. Often, when people reach their mid-life they begin to reexamine how they have been living their lives. It is this reexamination that urges people to make changes to their lifestyles.

Even as a child you probably thought you knew what you wanted to be when you grew up. Your vision probably entailed a fantasy life with healthy living incorporated with exercise and cell u loss. Most people dream about the things they want to do with their lives. This is why it can be devastating when dreams do not come true.

However, sometimes these dreams do not come true for whatever reason. The vision of fancy brown boots that come along with the expensive car have not happened. So what went wrong? This is when people start asking themselves these questions.

Too often people put their dreams on hold because life happens. How so? Well, most of the time people get involved in long-term relationships and all of the responsibilities that come with a long-term relationship. A home and children begin to take up all of a person’s free time. These responsibilities leave little room for a person to go after their own individual dreams.

During mid-life people often turn inward. It is a sense of a new beginning. Most of the responsibilities of young adulthood have eased. Children are probably grown enough to not depend on mom and dad for everything. This frees up some time that was otherwise preoccupied.

What is common during a midlife crisis? Well, living more freely and creatively is often common. New places to travel are on the itinerary. Places that do not have to be kid friendly. People may also reinvent their sense of style as well. Someone who was not into fashion can all of a sudden be lured to trendy tote handbags! The uncommon characteristics for an individual can become quite common at this point in life.

Starting over during midlife is often what many people do. Those who took on responsibilities young, and were not able to follow their dreams often revisit their passions and try to reignite them. People in this age group often know what their skills and talents are more strongly than a young adult does. This can help them pursue their dreams and reinvent themselves or careers.

Laborer By Day Boyfriend By Night

Everybody thought it looked like he wore girls shirts to work. It was just that he had some old, out of style shirts and he wanted to save his cool shirts for better times. Work was sweaty and dusty and he couldn’t see a need to be cool among a bunch of guys he didn’t even know.

Day after day he drove the fork lift up and down the rows of furniture, stifling a yawn most of the day. He picked and delivered what the boss wanted. He did not enjoy it but he enjoyed money to spend.

He stopped for breakfast every morning. He liked waffles and breakfast sausage. For lunch he ate a single sandwich. Dinner was big. Sometimes he went with the guys to a burger joint.

Day after day he picked orders and drove them down the line to where they were prepared for delivery or pick up. Who got a new leather couch and love seat today? Who got a new dining room set?

He was a bright guy, living in a small town. He couldn’t find a higher-paying job unless he left town. He needed to give up his current life and move to the big city if he wanted to grow financially.

Now in his twenties, thirty was just around the corner. He was capable of anything, but needed some opportunity to prove it. He had bought his girlfriend an eternity ring but she should have a diamond engagement ring soon. He needed more income and a stable future.

She stood there in front of the restaurant, waiting for him to join her for dinner. She wore matching brown suede boots and a matched hobo bag. Her dress was feminine. She had a look of love in her eyes as he drove up and they walked hand in hand into the cool restaurant.

Sitting in a booth, they sipped Margaritas and waited for the taco salads to be prepared. Both loved Mexican food. They followed a pretty healthy regimen.

They talked softly about the things they did all day. She definitely had more interesting anecdotes to share. She got good grades, was talking about a future career and focusing on academics without ever taking her main focus off of him.

He, however, never at a loss for words, told about how his boss had a box dropped on his toe this afternoon. It was a funny tale due to his boss being less than favored in his eyes. She laughed as he related the look on the boss’s face. She could not help but wish he shared the academic world she was immersed in.

Telling Your Family About Your Pregnancy

During pregnancy first consider yourself. This should always be the first priority that you will have, but on top of this there will be a number of other considerations you will have as well. One of the ones that might sit quite highly on a lot of people’s lists will be exactly how they are going to tell their family and their friends.

When you do want to do this there will be a few things you will need to think about. One of the first things you will have to consider will be how they are likely to react to you being pregant. Their reaction will certainly be different depending on the situation and whether or not this pregnancy was planned.

If you consider what sort of reaction you are likely to receive from them then you will be in able to brace yourself properly. While getting good reactions is not something you need to be concerned about, if you think the reactions will be negative, then you need to think about this before you to anyone.

You may also want to think about exactly when you will tell them. Will you want to tell them as soon as you have found out or will you wait a little bit longer? If it is an early period pregnant stage then it might be a better idea to wait until the end of your first-trimester when it becomes less likely that you might have any sort of problem or miscarriage. You might also consider simply waiting for yourself to show a little bit before you truly the cat out of the bag.

Of course, you also need to figure out who you will be telling first of all. You should therefore consider who the most important people in your life are and then prioritise who will be told. Most people will want to tell their families, particularly their mothers first of all, but you should also prioritise your friends as well.

Your personality will be another consideration. Some would prefer to tell everyone together and have a large party to celebrate their happiness and get lots of compliments and congratulations all in one. However, other people are more reserved and would prefer to keep the entire situation a little bit more low-key.

All in all, the situation will depend on many different aspects. It will really come down to your own personality and the situation of your pregnancy as to how you are likely to tell them.

As such you should make sure that you conduct plenty of research so that you know about the different things that have been within your body.

Of course, in the early days of your pregnancy the choices that you make will have a massive impact upon the future development of your child. If you ever encounter any sort of problem, even if you think it might just be nothing, always make sure you are safe rather than sorry.

Getting a certain level of exercise is also a good idea. While it is not the best idea to build a new exercise schedule when you find out that you are pregnant, if you are currently exercising on a regular basis before finding out you should try to make sure that you continue with this. How To Safely Exercise While Pregnant

      June 27, 2010 by leonedward · Leave a Comment
      Filed under: Be Happy

You may not exactly feel like getting on your schwinn mountain bike while pregnant, but most women find that exercising through their pregnancy helps keep them feeling good. However, before you begin any type of exercise routine while pregnant you have to discuss your options with your doctor. Ordinarily, the amount and level of exercise you’ll be able to do will depend on how active you were before you conceived.

If you are healthy, and there are no complications involved, exercising can be very beneficial. Women who are pregnant will often feel a little out of control during their pregnant months. Their bodies are changing and so are their hormones. However, exercising can help you gain some control over your body and hormones.

Similar to pre-pregnancy, exercise it will help you relieve stress by releasing negative hormones. It will also help you maintain your physical strength. It will help against back pains that are associated with the expected weight gain. It will also help restless mothers-to-be to sleep better at night.

Even if you are not carrying a baby inside your body, when you exercise you will increase blood circulation to the skin. This helps give your skin a healthy glow. It will also help prepare you for child birth. When your muscles are strong and your heart is fit this will help ease the labor and delivery. If you find yourself facing a long labor, when you are fit you’ll most likely have a stronger endurance level.

You may not have known that when you practice healthy exercise while pregnant, you’ll regain your pre-pregnancy figure quicker than if you hadn’t exercised. This is because you’ll probably gain less fat while exercising safely. Remember, how and what you do for exercise all depends on what your exercise habits were before you got pregnant.

So, you didn’t exercise before conceiving? Well, this doesn’t mean that you can’t exercise during your pregnancy. However, you just have to take extra precautions. This means consulting your doctor before starting any type of physical exercise routine during your pregnancy.

The types of exercises you do will depend on both your interests and what your doctor advises. Whatever you end up deciding on, make sure to pay attention to your body. Your body can be one of the best indicators of what works for you and what doesn’t. Remember your body will constantly change during the course of your pregnancy, so what may have been good exercise for you in your first trimester, may not necessarily work for you during the end of your pregnancy.

They do not want a candidate who will ultimately not succeed. You can convey this through your letter of statement, as well as including any publications you may have participated in.
